Ceremonial Cacao Energy Balls


  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup Forager Superfoods Ceremonial Cacao
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1-2 tbsp water, as needed
  • Optional: Additional shredded coconut for rolling


  1. Blend the Ingredients: In a food processor, combine the dates, Ceremonial Cacao, almond flour, almond butter, shredded coconut, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend until the mixture is well combined and slightly sticky.

  2. Adjust Consistency: If the mixture is too dry, add water one tablespoon at a time until it reaches a consistency that can be easily rolled into balls.

  3. Roll the Balls: Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls about the size of a walnut.

  4. Coat the Balls: If desired, roll the balls in additional shredded coconut to coat.
